Are you a Production Supervisor looking to step into an Assistant Operations Manager role for one of the largest materials companies in the UK?
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee operations at a state-of-the-art aggregates recycling plant based in Manchester.
An ideal applicant with have a strong production & team leadership background derived from a quarrying, aggregates, and / or recycling background.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily production activities at the aggregates recycling plant
- Supervise and provide guidance to the production team, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote and safe working environment for all employees
- Monitor production processes, equipment, and material flow to maximise efficiency and meet production targets
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and sales, to ensure smooth operations and timely product delivery
Requirements:
- Production Supervisor / Manager or similar
- Strong knowledge of aggregates and / or recycling processes (screening, crushing, washing etc.)
- Proven track record of meeting production targets and driving continuous improvements initiatives
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and the ability to enforce safety regulations
- Excellent team leadership experience
