An excellent opportunity is available to join a leading chemical manufacturer and join their world-class project engineering team. Acting as a mechanical subject matter expert, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver various process improvement and site installation projects across a top-tier COMAH site.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-function teams to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
- Create project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Coordinate project teams and provide technical guidance and support.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and cost-benefit analysis to drive informed decision making.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including reports, technical drawing and specifications.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
- Project Engineer
- Manufacturing, heavy engineering, chemical FMCG or similar engineering background
- Experience working on continuous improvement and installation projects
- Mechanical bias
- Looking for a technically diverse role offering industry specific development
