You will be playing a lead role in the export of thousands of tonnes per year and have the opportunity to develop yourself in one of the UK’s fastest growing and sustainable sectors.
The company themselves are a specialist within the heavy engineering sector and are recognised as the best in practice in their respective field. They operate from 65 sites in the UK and over 150 worldwide, with customers spread across 3 continents. Due to continued growth, they are currently looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join their team on a full time & permanent basis.
In this role you will work closely with the UK sites to ensure the timely delivery of exports to Asia, Europe, and the US. You will be focused on predominantly sea freight with some road freight also & given complete industry training.
Position:
*Shipping Coordinator
*£30,000 – £33,000 + Training + Progression
*Exporting product predominantly by sea freight with some road freight into Europe
*Complete industry training provided
Person:
*Background in logistics, shipping, and / or freight forwarding
*Export and / or import experience
*Any industry considered as full training provided
*Passionate about logistics and looking to progress
